DIANA F. RABANAL earned her Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree, cum laude, from the University of the Philippines and Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree from San Beda College of Law.

Ms. Rabanal is engaged in general commercial litigation and in particular, intellectual property rights prosecution and litigation.

Ms. Rabanal handles, among others, trademark prosecution and trademark litigation, including the preparation of trademark availability opinions, preparation and prosecution of trademark applications, and appearance before regular courts and the Intellectual Property Office (IPO) in relation to opposition and cancellation proceedings and cases involving trademark infringement, unfair competition and other cases involving violations of intellectual property rights.

Ms. Rabanal also routinely renders opinions on patent validity and patent protection issues and likewise advises clients on the ideal courses of action to pursue in enforcing patent rights.

Ms. Rabanal ranked 26th in her law school graduating class of 135 graduates. She was also the recipient of the prestigious Gerry Roxas Leadership Award in 2000-2001.
